Terms of Service
These terms apply when you book a massage, or book me for an event. They are meant to be plain enough that neither of us needs to argue about them later.

1. Who you are dealing with
Sessions are provided by Marco Krastev, a private individual working as a massage practitioner under the name The WanderBody Alchemist, based in Sofia, Bulgaria. Contact: marco.krastev97@gmail.com.
“The WanderBody Alchemist” is a working name, not a company, and there is no legal entity behind it. If you have seen this practice under another name as well, your agreement is with the same person either way.
2. What the service is
Massage for wellbeing and relaxation: private sessions, and massage brought to events, retreats, festivals and hotels.
This is not medical treatment. It is not physiotherapy, not chiropractic, and not a substitute for seeing a doctor. No diagnosis is offered and no cure is promised. If something in your body worries you, see a doctor first.
“Alchemist” and “alchemy” on this site are metaphors for craft and attention, and nothing more. They describe how the work is done, not an effect it produces. Nothing on the site should be read as a claim to transform, heal or treat a physical condition.
Qualifications held are listed on the site and are exactly what they say: certificates of professional competence in sports massage and traditional Thai massage.
3. Booking and confirmation
You can book a private session through the calendar on the site, or send an enquiry through the form for events and anything the calendar cannot express. A slot chosen in the calendar is confirmed automatically. An enquiry is not a booking — it becomes one when I reply and confirm it.
I may decline a booking. The usual reasons are a clash, a location I cannot safely work in, or a request for something that is not the service described on this site.
4. Prices and payment
- Prices are agreed before the session and are quoted in BGN. No VAT is charged or added.
- Private sessions are paid at the end of the session, in cash or by bank transfer.
- Event and retreat work is agreed in writing beforehand: a 30% deposit on confirmation, the balance within 14 days of the event, and travel outside Sofia charged separately at cost.
No payment is taken through this website. There is no card processor and no payment page.
No formal invoice can be issued. The practice is not registered as a trader, so there is no company or ЕТ to invoice through. If your organisation can only pay against an invoice, say so before we agree anything — it is better to find that out now than on the day.
5. Cancellations and lateness
Every number in this section is one I propose, not one you have confirmed. These are the terms you will actually have to enforce on a real person who is already embarrassed — read them as promises, not as policy.
- You cancel with more than 24 hours' notice: no charge, and we rebook whenever suits.
- Less than 24 hours, or you do not turn up: 50% of the fee. The slot was held for you and cannot be filled that late.
- You arrive late: the session still ends at the booked time, so the massage is shorter. The full fee applies.
- I cancel: you get the whole amount back, or another slot — your choice. If I cancel late for any reason short of an emergency, the rebooked session is at half price.
- Event bookings have their own notice period, agreed in writing when the booking is confirmed. The default is 14 days; inside that, the deposit is not refunded.
6. Your right to change your mind
As a consumer buying a service at a distance in the EU, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a contract without giving a reason. Two things narrow it in practice:
- If you ask for the session to happen inside that 14-day window and it goes ahead, you can be charged for what has already been provided.
- Contracts for services tied to a specific date or period — which is what a booked appointment is — are commonly outside the withdrawal right altogether.
Whatever the position turns out to be, the cancellation terms in section 5 are what I actually apply, and they are more generous.
7. Events and on-location work
- You provide a space that is clean, private enough for someone to relax in, sheltered, and with somewhere to wash hands. Power and a chair are welcome, not essential.
- Travel inside Sofia is included in the price. Outside Sofia, travel and any accommodation are agreed in advance.
- I arrive early to set up and pack down afterwards, within the schedule we agreed.
- If the space turns out to be unusable or unsafe on the day, I will do what I can to adapt. If nothing workable exists, the booking is treated as cancelled by you.
- Numbers of guests, slot lengths and total hours are agreed in advance. Beyond that, extra time is charged at the agreed rate if I can stay.
8. Health and safety
Tell me before we start about injuries, recent surgery, pregnancy, skin conditions, infections, medication or anything a reasonable person would want their massage therapist to know. It decides whether a technique is safe, and sometimes whether the session should happen at all.
- I may decline or stop a session on health grounds. That is a safety decision, not a judgement about you.
- If you conceal something material and are harmed by a technique I would not have used had I known, that is on you, not on me.
- Do not come to a session under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The session will be ended and the full fee applies.
- How your health information is handled is set out in the privacy policy.
9. Conduct
This is professional, non-sexual bodywork. There is no version of this service that is anything else, and asking is not a negotiation.
- Any sexual request, comment or advance ends the session immediately, and the full fee is payable. There will be no further bookings.
- You stay appropriately covered throughout. You decide what you are comfortable removing, and you can keep anything on.
- You can ask me to adjust pressure, avoid an area, or stop entirely, at any moment, without explaining why. Nothing continues once you say stop.
- The same respect runs the other way. If I am ever anything less than professional, say so and the session ends with nothing to pay.
10. Liability
I take responsibility for my own negligence and for anything the law does not permit me to exclude — which includes death or personal injury caused by negligence, and fraud. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
Beyond that: I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for reactions arising from information you did not tell me, or for belongings left behind at a venue. For event work, liability for any single booking is limited to the fee paid for that booking.
I do not hold professional indemnity or public liability insurance. If you are booking on behalf of a venue, an employer or an event, and your own cover requires the practitioner to be insured, tell me before you book rather than on the day.
11. Photographs and site content
The photographs, text, film and design on this site belong to me or are used with permission. Please do not reuse them without asking.
I will never photograph you, or use a photograph in which you can be recognised, without asking you first and separately. Agreeing to a session is not agreeing to be photographed, and saying no changes nothing about the session.
12. Complaints and governing law
If something went wrong, tell me first — marco.krastev97@gmail.com. Most things are fixable directly and quickly.
These terms are governed by Bulgarian law, and the courts of Bulgaria have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in another EU country, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country.
If we cannot settle something directly, you can take it to the conciliation commissions run by the Bulgarian Commission for Consumer Protection (kzp.bg). Their conciliation is voluntary and the outcome is not binding on either of us. If you live in another EU country, your own national dispute resolution body is open to you as well, and the European Consumer Centre in your country can point you to it.
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. I may update these terms; the version in force is the one published when you booked.
